beauty to leave you breathless. there’s not one element that doesn’t nudge the upper boundaries of sheer perfection: tana stychinskaya’s styling mix of mesh, fur, satin & lace; ernest muntaniol’s brilliant feline makeup & hair (which jumps from jessica rabbit-like curls to a slick androgynous quiff); & lev efimov’s flawless black & white photography.

scars & nsfw. a few character marks actually make us more interesting. as a model such things as scars get the once-over w/the kind of “healing tool” (*cough* photoshop) that exists in the digital world.
in a world where too much photoshop can at its best rid people of life’s little marks & at its worst rid them of reality all together, seeing a portrait of anna selezneva complete w/a scarred forearm is somewhat refreshing — a reminder that skin is a canvas w/many stories to tell.
anna selezneva shot by karim sadli for the last magazine.
