treehotel, sweden. in the middle of harad’s untouched forest exists five tree houses each uniquely designed w/a view of the luke river valley.
treehotel was motivated by the film the tree lover, a tale of three city men building a tree house to discover their origins – a philanthropic tale about the importance of trees for human existence.
scandinavian architects collaborate w/treehotel to design rooms built on trees w/out destroying or cutting down the forest. the uniquely designed tree rooms are made w/chemical-free materials & construction techniques that cause minor ecological impact as possible.
