spring/summer is a good season for uber feminine ulyana sergeenko, editor at glamour russia. her designs are a reminder of the best a woman can get. each piece highlights the best in any figure & is crafted lovingly by sergeenko herself. though she is reasonably unknown, russian model natalia vodianova often champions sergeenko’s pieces & wears them perfectly.
her 1950s-vintage, ultra-feminine collection debut had me swooning! & sergeenko has me swooning again. “brigitte bardot visits russia” is the inspiration behind spring/summer 2012. the collection reflects swimwear & beachwear silhouettes & is filled w/an abundance of flirty fabrics & girly prints. sergeenko manages to deliver ridiculement chic pieces once again.

lingerie as outerwear. jessica choay designs what you might describe as ‘lingerie as outerwear’ w/out any lingerie in sight. paradoxical?
to summarise her aesthetic in just six words: jessica choay designs for the senses. if you were to extrapolate you could go as far as to say that choay designs clothing w/a sensual lean where the wearer’s senses are indulged.

ulyana sergeenko, editor at glamour russia, collection debut has me swooning (i swore i would never use this word, but this collection breaks the rules). sergeenko’s 1950s-vintage, ultra-feminine collection is très chic, ridiculement, w/an abundance of silk, wool, chiffon & velvet furs (which i’m irrevocably hearting). featured in this post are my fave looks/mlle’s ‘i need’ list.
