aside from swimwear or nude models, fashion photography was habitually shot in studios. enthused by photographer chad muller, beaches as backdrops are used for everything from haute couture to evening shoes & winter furs, thus muller senses it’s time to move forward & discover new types of work. “i’ve been shooting fashion outdoors & on beaches for decades. i had the idea to shoot fashion where people would normally shoot nudes or bathing suits,” says muller regarding what he promises to be the end of his beach shoots.
